About

Training and Experience

I am a senior clinical psychologist with 35 years of experiences. I trained at New York University’s Clinical Psychology Graduate Department, where I got my doctoral degree. I interned at Montefiore Hospital, and did a Fellowship at the Family Studies Unit at Bronx State Hospital.

N.Y.U. offered a broad academic focus on human development and psychoanalytic ideas. In the course of my career, my training interests and experiences have included supervised practice in family and couples therapy, training in group psychotherapy, and an extended focus on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have also developed expertise in attachment based treatments for individuals and couples. My interests in meditation, yoga, and relaxation have led to the integration of these skills into my practice.

My professional services include individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. I also provide consultation to individuals, couples, and organizations in transition.

I have been on the faculties of the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital, Trauma Center, the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy, and the Massachusetts School for Professional Psychology.

I have taught workshops and seminars through the Harvard Medical School Continuing Education programs. I am a co-founder of Group Solutions Network
